Initially in 1985 to meet the growing demand of fabric dyeing of the garment exporter in the country. The board of directors took the initiative of setting up a dyeing factory at eight Isdair road, Narayanganj with all necessary machineries and equipment needed to fulfill the requirement of the garment manufacturer & exporter. After gathering experience in dyeing sector, a sewing factory was established in 1995 with only eighty  sewing and six  knitting  machines which merged with dyeing factory and was numbed Noor sewing & Dyeing Ltd .

Till 1995 the mother company has been manufacturing and exporting readymade knit garment to Italy, France, UK and Denmark.

In 2004 the board decided to setup another 100% export oriented knit garment composite plant just one kilometer away from nor sewing & Dyeing Ltd .  At 160 Shahongaon, Enayetnagar, Fatullah, Narayanganj and was named Mother Color Ltd, Which has an area of 160,000 square feet in total.

The new factory has been built and managed according to GTZ [Germany] rules guidelines under supervision of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturer and Exporters Association (BKMEA), Mother Color has the capacity to produce 25000 pcs of basic T –shirt, 5000 pcs polo-shirt per day, besides these fancy T-shirt, Rugby T-shirt, Fleece Jacket, sweat shirt, raglan t-shirt, boxer shorts and pyjama sets are also being produced. 1900 skilled workers are involved in producing quality product under the supervision of another 50 skilled professionals.
